Dr Karori Mbũgua is an Associate Professor of
Philosophy at the University of Nairobi. He
holds a BA and an MA in Philosophy from the
University of Nairobi, an MSC in Philosophy
and History of Science from the London School
of Economics and a PhD in Philosophy of
Science from the University of Cape Town. His
areas of academic interest include Philosophy
and History of Science, Bioethics,
Environmental Ethics, African Philosophy and
Philosophy of Religion. His research has
appeared in various journals such as Journal of
Medical Ethics and History of Medicine, History
and Philosophy of the Life Sciences, Eubios
Journal of Asian and International Bioethics,
Mila, Current Science, and South African Journal
of Philosophy.
